In NSW greenhouse gas emissions fell 5 million tonnes in 2010 (compared with 2009)- the highest reduction of pollution of any state and territory in Australia.
Why? Because people in that state required less coal-generated electricity and embraced solar energy panels (and other sources of clean energy) faster then Queenslanders did.
Climate Groups spokesperson Rupert Posner agrees. He says lower emission results mean decreased pollution due to more electricity generated from renewable energy sources- like solar energy panels.
According to the Climate Groups annual report this trend towards solar energy panels is Australia wide; collectively Australians have produced less carbon in 2010 than 2009 and less in 2009 than in 2008.
As Australians we should be proud of how many people continue to sign up to use solar energy panels- saving money and natural resources, hints the report.
You can do your part to ensure this trend continues by treating your family to the benefits of using solar energy panels. For one thing they are easier to install and control than a state of origin footy match and another is that youll get free electricity for you and your family through solar energy. Panels are easy and cost effective to install and can kick hundreds of dollars off your electricity bill.
Call Cleaner Energy today (1800 751 338) and ask about solar energy panels. There are many options to suit every budget and goal. Event though NSW produced less carbon last year doesnt mean that we cant produce less carbon then NSW this year by utilising solar. Energy panels are Cleaner Energys specialty- they have been helping Queenslanders utilise the suns rays for years.
Panels generate no waste, require very little maintenance, and increase the value of your home or business. Plus if Queenslanders install enough solar energy panels we will reduce the amount of carbon dioxide released each year and maybe even teach those guys in NSW a lesson!
